It's interesting that Mitt Romney won the senatorial race in Utah.

I am happy with tonight's result. Winning the Senate tonight would've been some kind of wonderfully delirious fever-dream, but what Dems DID achieve was not some kind of mere consolation prize. Dems have re-established the intended constitutional check against executive power; the DNC-controlled House can freely investigate Trump and his conspirators, put an end to the GOP's rubber-stamping Trump's policies while stifling debate and analysis, and force all legislation into the sunlight once again. This is a TREMENDOUS victory and an important positive step in bringing the country back from the precipice.
