We do not have that luxury as long as he/they are still committed to a coup.
As long as the more he keeps it up, the more it continues to crash and burn and the more of an 8 year old having a monumental tantrum he and his followers continue to look like. We can't get them off this conspiracy hay ride, but maybe they'll end up being so much of a joke some of them eventually scuttle away into the political cracks they crawled out of.

We can hope.

Bet they're being pressured from above.
Monica Palmer, the Republican chairwoman of the Wayne County Board of Canvassers who initially voted on Tuesday against certifying the county's election results, then reversed her vote, said Thursday she received a phone call from President Donald Trump Tuesday evening after the meeting ended.

Palmer said she did not know how long the call lasted, saying there was a lot of stress and adrenaline that night.

"He was checking to make sure I was safe after seeing/hearing about the threats and doxxing," Palmer wrote in a text message, referring to a firestorm of information released about her on social media.
Trump was just concerned for her safety. HOW SWEET.

Have they tried going back shortly after the election, and asking people if they actually voted and, if so, for whom?
There's no need to do that. After the election we have the exact number of people who voted and for whom in the election results. The only useful information from a post-election poll is why they chose their particular candidate or why they didn't cast a ballot for that particular race.

Note for non-US voters: Most US elections have multiple races and questions on a given ballot. The most important ones are at the top, referred to as "top of the ticket", and the remainder are "down ballot races/issues". It is a regular result in elections for more ballots to be cast for the top of the ticket, and fewer as you go down. Reasons include laziness, not knowing enough about the other races and their candidates, and not understanding the questions in ballot initiatives, bond issues, or state constitution amendments.

Someone should at least put a historical marker on the nearest lamppost. By the way, the front of 4STL looks much nicer than their parking lot, as it should for a landscaping company.

Georgia's audit of the election results is finished as of this morning. Secretary of State Raffensberger will certify the results tomorrow, as required by state law. Net change is about 1,000 out of 14,000 in the margin, so Biden still wins by about 13,000.

Note, this was not a recount. This was an audit of the initial vote count to ensure accuracy. Due to the closeness of the result, it was a full hand audit of all five million ballots. At other times they do a sample partial audit. The loser can request a recount after certification, which will run all the ballots through machines again.

They found four significant issues during the audit. Floyd County failed to rerun a batch of ballots when the counting machine broke down part-way through that batch. Three other counties failed to upload the data from the counting machines' USB sticks to the state office. All those will be rectified. A number of counties were off by one vote, and a few by 2-10 votes in their paper tallies from batches vs the machine results. These were apparently math errors and don't affect the uploaded results.

Georgia's ballots are long. 6 columns on two long pages in my case. Statewide and federal elections, county, city, congressional district, etc. all have differing boundaries according to your exact address. The machines count whats on a given ballot for each race, then the numbers are totalled at the state office for races that extend beyond a single county. County and city are totalled by the county. But for example the City of Atlanta extends into two counties, so the state does that one. Machines are more accurate than humans for large numbers of people and many different races, that's why we use them.

If Fox News airs that, RG really has totally nothing in his hands.
Our are they definitive in the fake news camp now?

The news division has been mainly on the FAKE side, but the pundits/editorial side still mostly leans into Trump's bosom.
