Maybe I'm just a freak but the overwhelming majority of the time I can and do breathe through both nostrils just fine. The only exception seems to be when sleeping on my side.

So I just saw this little vidéo and laughed cause it’s just so absurd. Then I was thinking I’d never actually seen one before in any of the homes of friends and family. I mean, I know what they are, just never seen or used one. Then I looked it up. Turns out, in the United States, more then 50% of homes have sink garbage disposals, compared with only 6% in the United Kingdom and 3% in Canada. I think because of regulations and such? Not sure.

They're also kind of scary. Wouldn’t want to lose another piece of finger.

Yeah, I didn't learn till a few years ago how uncommon they are in most countries. I always had one. They aren't as scary as our gun problem.... lol.

Adult armspan is about six feet, and we have some pretty dumb adults here.

In litigious America, it is surprising that these things are so common. It's also surprising that there aren't more stories.

Contrary to popular belief, Americans aren't more litigious than the rest of the developed world. That's one stereotype in particular that is false. Corporate propaganda makes people think it's a big problem here because they hate being sued so much.

What Americans actually do, is worship convenience!
