I seriously hope we find better ways to deprogram extremist ideology. We seem to only have vague ideas of what kinds of personality traits make someone more susceptible to crazy beliefs.

And of course, if we did develop a treatment program that helps deprogram such beliefs, many people would refuse to get it and just dismiss it as brain washing.

They don't really give a shit about those 13 marines who died. People like that pretend to give a shit about soldiers dying when a democrat is in office, but act like everything's fine when a republican president gets soldiers killed. Bengasi is another example.
