Thinking of it in this frame a bit, it kind of shows part of the Nazi mindset behind these types of people (rich assholes).

You are rich therefore you must be successful/smart/capable is part of it.

But also, "You are rich/smart/successful/capable, because of your genetics. You are "good" therefore your kids are "good" by default, because genetics. That sort of eugenics sort of crap.
I don't think it even needs to be conscious -- "People like us occupy senior executive and managerial positions in this business because those are the roles for which our talents and abilities best suit us, so clearly the next generation of senior executives and managers should have backgrounds and qualifications similar to those of the existing team, with whom they'll also need to be a 'good fit' while they're working their way up."

Plus, of course, in most cases you're not going to be able to afford to work as an unpaid or poorly paid intern in a city like New York or San Francisco unless your parents are prepared and able to offer you considerable financial assistance, which immediately disqualifies many potential candidates.

Trump issued sanctions against South Africa. The reasons why are:

1. Trump thinks that the state is driving Afrikaners out of their farming properties, that's the white minority which ruled over the black majority during Apartheid, and
2. because South Africa decided to sue Israel before the ICC, so sided with Hamas in his eyes. And dares to speak with Iran.

Guys, there's no need to worry.

Any moment now, the NRA is going to do what it always said it was there for; use all those guns to defeat a tyrant.

Any .................. moment .................................................................

According to their evil Manifesto or whatever they call it, this only activates for defeat of a "woke" tyrant. Pardon my oxymoron.

The NRA will do nothing, because Trump also wrote this decree named "Protecting second amendment rights" 2 days ago. Which is in short giving the gun lovers much more leeway from Federal side than they are having today.

I know... lets end financial oversight, what could possibly go wrong?

Trump’s acting chief of federal financial watchdog orders staff to pause activity

head of the US Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, announced on Saturday he had cut off the agency’s budget and reportedly instructed staff to suspend all activities including the supervision of companies overseen by the agency.
...

The CFPB, which Congress created in the wake of the 2008 financial crash, supervises consumer-facing financial companies like banks, title lenders, mortgage originators and cash transfer services to prevent unfair, deceptive and abusive practices and other predatory conduct.
...
Musk, whose platform X is seeking to enter the consumer financial marketplace, has said in the past he would “delete” the agency responsible for consumer protection.
Ah Musk, who builds cars that can't pass safety inspections, wants to offer financial services that can't be regulated against predatory behaviours. Could there be a bigger red flag?
