As a person with a body almost as old as Trump's, that looks like a minor trauma from bumping his hand against something. At this age, almost anything can trigger nasty looking wounds. The pain, etc. that in someone younger would accompany such a wound does not in a person with delicate skin. "Mom! What did you do to yourself?!" "I don't know, I don't remember anything that hurt enough to justify this amount of bruising." My husband and I are always wondering what we did to justify such a reaction from our skin. But the answer almost always is the same: we lived long enough to become very delicate.

Trump announced today as "big deal" that the Space Command will move from Colorado to Huntsville, Alabama.

"We love Alabama. I only won it by about 47 points. I don't think that influenced my decision, though," Trump told reporters and lawmakers gathered in the Oval Office.

The decision reverses a move made under former President Joe Biden's administration, which had selected Colorado Springs as the permanent home for the military's newest combatant command.

Defense officials have previously estimated that relocating the headquarters, which became fully operational in December 2023, could cost hundreds of millions of dollars and take three to four years to complete.

About 1,700 personnel work at Space Command, according to congressional records.

Obviously that number is just made up. Would be interesting to see them try to name the wars they ended. ....in particular, I'd love to see if they'd try to take credit for ending the war in Afghanistan in his first term, even though they blame Biden for the pull out disaster. It's a special kind of double think.

Interesting.... I've long believed MTG wasn't quite as stupid as she let on, but maybe is an opportunistic actress.
