This, from The Guardian, suggests that Trump can't simply order all the Grand Jury testimony from Maxwell's prosecution to be unsealed and expect the courts to rubber-stamp it.

Separately, a New York judge has ordered that the Trump administration must send more documents to support its call to release secret grand jury testimony from the 2021 Maxwell prosecution.

Judge Paul Engelmayer said New York federal court would like to “expeditiously” resolve the Trump administration’s request, but that it could not do so due to a number of missing submissions, including “why disclosure is being sought in the particular case” and “what specific information is being sought for disclosure”, he wrote.

Engelmayer said the government must file a memorandum of law no later than 29 July and ordered Maxwell and the victims to file their positions on the proposed disclosure by 5 August.

Obviously I don't know how it works in the US, but certainly in the UK judges are very unwilling to grant blanket orders for discovery that appear to be "fishing trips" -- that is, "If you let us see all the documents we're sure we'll find something we can use."

I agree that it may help explain the motivation behind many Magats, but I’m not sure I agree on the cure the author puts forth.

I’m sure forgiveness may help many for some things/situations, but I don’t believe it is the only way to bring closure. I can think of a few people I will never forgive. I don’t seek revenge (well maybe at first, cursing them with as much misery as possible). I moved on quite a while ago. In fact, I hardly think of them at all. I analyzed their actions and what happened, tried to find something, anything, that I could learn from it, even if all it was, was that I got through it and I’m still standing. Learning you are strong as fuck is a really good thing. I still love and laugh, and am relatively happy.

Not saying that it’s easy, it was a process. I’m sure forgiveness isn’t easy either, but I learned to flush out the hate and anger, and focus on the “good” that came out of it. It takes time. Probably much quicker if you go to (and can afford) therapy. I had to do it on my own and it took years.

Anyway, mostly forgotten, but no forgiveness given. I think forgiving people who haven’t made amends or even asked for it would be much more detrimental to my health than not forgiving. Maybe they are living miserable lives, maybe they are blissfully happy. I don’t care.

I did not forgive, I just taught myself to forget, to let it fade. Maybe that’s basically the same and it’s only semantics, idk.
