Woke up to 5 inches of snow before this thing really even got rolling. We're now in the middle of a Blizzard and don't expect the storm to move east into Missouri until later today.
My terrier puppy insisted on going out (for personal needs). But she's so short the snow was already up to her belly at 9 AM. I had to shovel a quick path out to the yard and put her on a leash - - when you're blind, snow just screws up ALL of your usual landmark recognition.
My biggest concern today is that our power stays on. It's looking positive on that note in Kansas SO FAR, but I'm not sure how all the folks to the east are going to manage.
