Not quite. He never really says he was wrong and apologizes to Fox News viewers or anyone else for misleading them. He just "outsmarted" "himself" with his "plausible" theorizing about Dems (or Russians?) performing an elaborate hoax on the country. You know, the most likely explanation.

This dashcam video shows a school bus going around a barricade and attempting to ford a low flooded crossing, failing and being swept downstream:


The incident happened during the flooding rains in central Texas a couple weeks ago. The driver and a 12-year-old student had to be rescued from the bus by the fire department once it finally got stuck somewhere. After the rescue, the driver was arrested and shortly afterwards was fired by the school district. He is charged with failing to obey the barricade and with endangering a child. Reportedly, after being swept off the road, the student called his mother to say goodbye because he was convinced he was about to die.

I think his reasoning must be that members of his Baptist Church all agree with him and #45 about Jerusalem, Israel and the Palestinians, so if only all the Jews, Muslims and Christians in that part of the world would see sense and join his Baptist Church, then everyone would be in complete agreement. Problem solved.
