Do you know what would really make MAGA heads explode nationwide?

Imagine a few days from now, white smoke billows from the chimney on the Sistine Chapel. The doors open, and there stands, in full papal regalia, Pope Joseph Biden the First.

I know you are just joking, but that would be a total disaster. Too old to be president of the USA, but fit enough to be pope, that is considered even a harder job?
That is 3 functions in one:
1. Head of the roman catholic church
2. Bishop of Rome
3. Head of state of Vatican City (with an average of one state visit from world leaders every week)

White smoke has emerged. We're waiting now for the reveal. Much band and marching has ensued.

According to different sources he was a close ally to Pope Francis. His stance is mild progresive, meaning a centrist but progressive on some key social issues. Like Pope Francis he has long embraced marginalized groups.

But also in terms of church doctrine he's seen as conservative, for example he's against ordaining women as deacons.

A man somewhere from the middle, but slightly more conservative than pope Francis was, I'm afraid. ( He chose the more theatrical clothing compared to Francis).
But than again his name suggest he wants to follow in the footsteps of Leo XIII and googling him tells:

"Pope Leo XIII led the Roman Catholic Church into the modern age, encouraging a more progressive approach to faith and social reform."

So that at least is somewhat hopeful.
We will see.
