Some of the better earbuds I have used were the $12 ones at Target, I think Phillips was the brand, it was like the middle price ranged ones but they were cheap.and sounded pretty good.Is why I buy cheapos, but the ones I have actually sound pretty good for what I paid for them ($12 because discontinuedand I got em in purple! )
Yeah, I saw it go and tumble down off the rider mower and "chunk" it was gone. I found some of it but I can only assume the larger chunk was rifled off to the neighbor's yard or something.
Earbuds I use the $8 Panasonic ones. They fit my particular ears better because the post is offset. And sound good. I don't claim to be an audiophile, but I want some actual range to my music -- it's hard to get halfway decent bass out of buds.

I'm not using speakers due to roomie situation, but the best PC speakers I've owned were a no-name 30w satellite + subwoofer thing I got at Tucson Computer back in 96 (I still have them and they still work fine). They sound awesome compared to a lot of "computer speakers' out there. Subwoofer makes all the difference.I only pretend to be an audiophile, but if I really want to listen to something that "sounds closer to perfect" or whatever I have a nice set of noise cancelling headphones on my PC. I don't usually use speakers but I also have a pair of Studio style JBL speakers on my PC as well, that my old job was getting rid of so I was offered them. They are an older version of this.
