Daily Caller Opinion Column ‘Explicitly’ Calls for Violence (archive.today)

The Daily Caller, a prominent conservative online publication, published an opinion column on Friday explicitly calling for violence in response to physical assaults on conservatives in America.

The column, written by editor at large Geoffrey Ingersoll and promoted near the top of the site, argues that “patriots” should use force because law enforcement officials do not adequately protect conservatives, including Charlie Kirk, the activist assassinated this month.

“Is this a call for violence?” the third paragraph says. “Yes. Explicitly it is.”

“I want blood in the streets,” he added in the column, which ran with the headline “Enough Is Enough … I Choose VIOLENCE!”

FBI fires agents pictured kneeling at George Floyd protest, US media report

The FBI Agents Association says the terminations - not yet confirmed by the bureau - violate the agents' rights.

The FBI has fired a group of agents who were pictured kneeling at a racial justice protest over the death of George Floyd, US media report.

The termination letter cited alleged "lack of judgement" in their actions, according to a source cited by CBS News, the BBC's US partner. Between 15 to 20 agents have reportedly been sacked.

The agents reportedly took the knee alongside others during a demonstration in 2020. Floyd, a black man, had been killed by a police officer who knelt on his neck in May that year, sparking global outcry.

The FBI Agents Association condemned the dismissals, stating that the agents' rights had been violated. The FBI declined to comment when contacted by the BBC.

Jacob Chansley, the Arizona man widely recognized as the "QAnon Shaman" for his horned warrior attire during the January 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol, has filed a sweeping lawsuit demanding $40 trillion in damages while declaring himself the rightful leader of the United States, RadarOnline.com can report.

The Phoenix resident submitted a 26-page complaint in Maricopa County Superior Court earlier this week. The document, written as a single paragraph resembling a manifesto, names an eclectic mix of defendants ranging from President Donald Trump to international institutions, major corporations and even Hollywood studios. Chansley is representing himself in the case.

I'm going out on a limb and assuming he didn't consult any actual lawyers before writing the complaint.

Adelita Grijalva made history last week, becoming the first Latina woman elected to represent Arizona in the U.S. House of Representatives. She won a special election for the seat previously occupied by her father, Democratic Rep. Raúl Grijalva, who died in March after serving over two decades in office.

Despite a blowout, uncontested victory — and a precedent of swearing in the winners of special elections almost immediately after their elections — Grijalva still has no idea when she might become an official member of the House.

House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) has yet to set a date for Grijalva’s swearing in ceremony, and the delay is raising eyebrows. Grijalva has indicated she will sign a discharge petition that would force a floor vote to release government documents related to the Jeffrey Epstein sex trafficking case as soon as she’s sworn in. Her signature would put the petition over the 218-vote threshold needed to override Republican leadership’s attempts to kill any vote to release the Epstein files.

Meanwhile, the U.S. government has shutdown.
