As I read further in that thread above, it seems the "real" UFO people are very, very peeved at all the fools spotting "drones" that are actually Venus, airplanes, helicopters, toy balloons, etc.

Unions are conceived of as democratically operated organizations of workers attempting to reflect the will of the majority of their members. Outside of the Soviet Union and the communist block nations (happily no longer existent*).

*I know nothing about the current state of unionization within Russia and the former Warsaw Pact nations.

Lest we forget that losing our minds about suspicious aircraft was an American tradition long before this current spate of drone hysteria, a Florida man has been ordered to pay $5,000 to Walmart after shooting one of the retail giant's drones that he thought was spying on him, First Coast News reports. Spoiler alert: it wasn't.

According to the Lake County Sheriff's Office, the saga played out back in June, when police responded to a call made at a Walmart. There, two employees said that someone had shot one of their drones while they were flying it over a nearby neighborhood as part of a "mock delivery." After the shooting, they fled back to the store, drone casualty in tow.

When unions have made it impossible for your family's business to stay in business like happened to my family's business, come talk to me.

You are entitled to your rage and your pain. No one can tell you that it doesn't massively affect you, or that you should 'just get over it because someone else is also suffering'. It is unfair to you, and I am sorry for your suffering. There are any number of platitudes and what-a-bouts for it, but in the end it still hurts. No one should make assumptions about what acceptable levels of pain are for another person. You are NOT wrong for what you feel.

So too, the drivers. The strike is well timed for it's intended effect, and I wish them luck in lessening the distress of their own families.

My personal hatred is reserved for the people who crafted this world is such a way that there are no winners, just a bunch of folks in pain who have no remedy that does not pass on some measure of their own suffering to others.

In fact, earlier this year the two signed memorandums of understanding to create a strategic partnership focused on software and electrification. Now, the changing business environment calls for deeper integration, they say.
