My neighbor literally called me up at 10PM to tell me a drone was over my house. I went outside, it was the planet Jupiter. not a joke!

When the power went out in LA and a bunch of people called 911 thinking there was something in the sky. It was the fuckin Milky Way.

Saw someone post Sirius. They were concerned because it was flickering.

Saw someone post a video of a helicopter.

In my city's sub someone was asking about a potential mystery drone... it was a star, the flickering light was just routine normal star "It isn't moving" well it is very very slowly... as the planet rotates it away.

Chainsaw man and president of Argentina Javier Milei has gained the Italian citizenship. It was given to him by Italian PM Georgia Meloni during a state visit. Milei's grand parents emigrated from Italy to Argentina in the last century.

Riccardo Magi, an opposition parliamentarian who has campaigned for birthright citizenship, criticized the granting of citizenship to the Milei siblings on X, calling it a “slap in the face to girls and boys who were born here or reside permanently and have been waiting for citizenship for years and years, sometimes without any result.”

“Have you lived in Italy since you were born? Do you go to schools in the country? Do you speak Italian but are your parents of foreign origin? Citizenship, then, you can dream of,” he wrote.

“You have practically never set foot in Italy but your name is Javier Milei, you are a friend of Giorgia Meloni and you discover that you have a distant relative from Calabria called ‘don Ciccio’? Don’t worry, the government will give it to you.”

The foreign ministry spokesperson did not respond to CNN’s question about criticism of the decision to grant the Milei siblings citizenship.

Meloni, on a recent visit to Argentina, expressed solidarity with the conservative leader, with whom she has been working to strengthen ties.

Milei, who likes to brandish a chainsaw to symbolize budget cuts, gave her an action figure of himself holding the power tool.

Well, if they are on Samung Galaxy phones they will end up with crystal clear images of the moon.

I mean they back then included some AI which miracled details into the photo weren't there, in other words were faking the result.

Our neighborhood group had a post with a photo of a few large pixels that a woman was claiming were dogs roaming around killing other animals. Someone asked if she took the picture with a potato. I laugh every time I think about it.

There's this whole thing right now about "mystery drones" flying at night in New Jersey or some place, and I swear to god every single photo and video I've seen of these things in forums or on news reports is freaking obviously just an airplane, with the regulation lighting and everything. I'm I just going nuts or something?

They have been talking about this on the TWIT Podcast, which I am currently listening to as I type this, and I agree.

It feels like some weird nonsense pushed to get people rialed up over nothing.
