These people are so stupid.

The only reason it seems like there is "more autism", the same.with everything they complain there is "more of", the really easy one being LGBTQ+ people, is because society has collectovely become less of a bunch of rigid jackasses about everything and are more open and accepting.

Basically, people are hiding it less. And also just, not, you know, committing suicide over it because society treated them like shit for being "different".

Because there never was a "different", there was just societal pressure to conform brought about by rigid authoritarian types who can't handle change because they probably have some type of undiagnosed Autism.

Hey, American teenage males? RFK, Jr. wants you to get your sperm count up. Like, by a lot. So that you and your (hopefully legal age) girlfriends can start making babies. Like, a lot of them. So time to get to work!

RFK Jr.’s Bonkers Teen Sperm Rant
Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has fumed about the sperm count of teenage boys as he talked up his own ability to procreate.

Speaking alongside President Donald Trump as the administration announced plans to make IVF more affordable, the father of seven also lamented that girls were going through puberty earlier and that “our parents aren’t having children.”
“Our girls are hitting puberty six years earlier, and that’s bad, but also our parents aren’t having children. Parents who want to have children do not have access. I have seven children. I feel that God has blessed me with that, and I can’t imagine how different my life would be if I did not have that blessing.”

Once again, the "health" food industry is trying to poison us.

Much has changed since Consumer Reports first tested protein powders and shakes. Over the past 15 years, Americans’ obsession with protein has transformed what had been a niche product into the centerpiece of a multibillion-dollar wellness craze, driving booming supplement sales and spawning a new crop of protein-fortified foods that now saturate supermarket shelves and social media feeds.
Yet for all the industry’s growth and rebranding, one thing hasn’t changed: Protein powders still carry troubling levels of toxic heavy metals, according to a new Consumer Reports investigation. Our latest tests of 23 protein powders and ready-to-drink shakes from popular brands found that heavy metal contamination has become even more common among protein products, raising concerns that the risks are growing right alongside the industry itself.

For more than two-thirds of the products we analyzed, a single serving contained more lead than CR’s food safety experts say is safe to consume in a day—some by more than 10 times.

We inherited loads of cast iron several years, ZOMG decades, ago and started cooking almost everything we eat from scratch. We weren't particularly health conscious at the time but noticed that we felt better and locked into it. Now, post Rh/ulcer/Hep/cholesterol/blood pressure/pre-diabetes diagnoses/treatments between us, and considering what we've learned about processed foods and supplements, we are really glad that we know exactly what we're eating most of the time.

When fiction rules your worldview.

While the underlying cause or causes of autism spectrum disorder remain elusive and appear likely to be a complex interplay of genetic and environmental factors, President Trump and his anti-vaccine health secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.—neither of whom have any scientific or medical background whatsoever—have decided to pin the blame on Tylenol, a common pain reliever and fever reducer that has no proven link to autism.

And now, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton is suing the maker of Tylenol, Kenvue and Johnson & Johnson, who previously sold Tylenol, claiming that they have been “deceptively marketing Tylenol” knowing that it “leads to a significantly increased risk of autism and other disorders.”

To back that claim, Paxton relies on the “considerable body of evidence… recently highlighted by the Trump Administration.”
Oh yeah? Well then PRODUCE THE EVIDENCE!

I'm looking forward to the discovery phase of this case.

Someone inform the Texas Attorney General.

RFK Jr. says no ‘sufficient’ evidence Tylenol definitively causes autism
Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said there is not “sufficient” evidence that Tylenol causes autism, softening warnings he and President Trump have repeatedly made to discourage the medicine’s use by pregnant women and young children.

During a press conference Wednesday, Kennedy reiterated that pregnant women should use Tylenol only when “absolutely necessary.”

“We’ve all said from the beginning that the causative association between Tylenol given in pregnancy … is not sufficient to say it definitely caused autism, but it is very suggestive,” Kennedy said.
I suggest that brain worm ate away far more of your operating system than you care to admit.

I suspect Kenvue (Tylenol's parent company) will be making a huge fortune from their future lawsuit.

I don't know. Kenvue may just decide like so many others that going against Trump "Just isn't worth it", given his record of weaponizing obstinacy.
They'd basically be going against RFK, Jr. Which is a win win.

I keep puzzling over, "Why Tylenol?"

Acetaminophen is in a ton of products. It is in many cold medicines. Excedrin and all the versions of it are aspirin + acetaminophen + caffeine which you'd think would ring all sorts of nutjob alarm bells. Of course, acetaminophen is widely available under any number of brand names. Walmart's Equate brand alone lists dozens of different products containing acetaminophen. I would think if you checked all the "house labels" out there, you'd find 100's of products containing it.

Why in the world did they pick so specifically on one brand of what is one of the most generic pain relievers in the world?

Maybe RFK, Jr. has tons of stock in Advil he can't dump. 🤷‍♀️

This is how you get the health care you need in America today: First, you must be a Trump loyalist.

Trump Says He’s ‘On It’ After Cartoonist Scott Adams Asks for Cancer Treatment Intervention
Scott Adams, who created the workplace-set comic strip ‘Dilbert’ in 1989 and who revealed in May that he had prostate cancer that had spread to his bones and expected to only live months longer, said in a social media post on Sunday that he would be asking Trump for help to bring forward his treatment schedule from Kaiser Permanente, after the California-based healthcare provider “dropped the ball” in scheduling his intravenous infusion. The cartoonist said he had been approved to be treated with Pluvicto, a targeted radioligand therapy used to treat prostate cancer that was approved by the FDA in 2022. Adams appealed to Trump to reach out to Kaiser and get them to “respond and schedule it for Monday. That will give me a fighting chance to stick around on this planet a little bit longer.”
“On it!” Trump posted on Truth Social on Sunday, with a screenshot of Adams’ X post. Prior to Trump’s post, Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. responded to Adams on X: “Scott. How do I reach you? The President wants to help.” Trump’s son Don Jr. also had responded to Adams’ post on X: “Going to make sure that my dad sees this. We’re all praying for you, keep fighting!”

My PCP retired and I finally got around to trying to find a new one.and why is it so hard to pick a doctor.

Like, not... procedurally or anything, just, making a choice. I guess it just feels like something you really don't want to screw up but its basically throwing darts at a wall.

Oh fuck.

MAHA Is Embracing Elizabeth Holmes. Here’s Why.
The Make America Healthy Again movement may have found its next cause: justice for Theranos founder and convicted fraudster Elizabeth Holmes.

On Oct. 31, mommy-blogger-turned-MAHA-influencer Jessica Reed Kraus wrote a Substack post titled “Elizabeth Holmes’ Redemption Arc Loading” for her nearly 500,000 subscribers. The post is sympathetic toward Holmes, a former Silicon Valley darling who falsely claimed that Theranos’ blood-testing technology could deliver faster and more accurate results than existing methods from just a few drops of blood. Holmes, of course, ultimately stood trial, was found guilty and sentenced to 11 years in prison for defrauding investors of hundreds of millions of dollars, though she still maintains her innocence.
But according to her “MAHA crew,” Kraus writes, Holmes is a deeply misunderstood character. If anything, Holmes could have been one of them: “My crew joked that if Holmes emerged today, she would be counted among the innovators MAHA endorses.” This isn’t the first time she’s written about Holmes — in a May post, Kraus noted she was beginning to read up on Holmes’ case — but it’s certainly her most supportive post to date.
Revamping the "Girl Boss" into a shining light of MAGA's pharmacological (mal)practice seems like a no brainer. Considering they have no brains.

There are not enough facepalms on the planet for this scenario

When you're facepalmed by the All Saints Church of Ripley, you know it means something.
