Large numbers of the volunteers at the Tokyo games have changed their minds and are backing out. This has the potential to make a significant impact on safety for the road races:

Yeah, we woke up REALLY late and couldn't catch a cab to the airport to make the plane in time. But after a long windy horrible adventure that would make both a gripping and hilarious film that none of us would watch because we've been through it, we're finally here.

So let's play!

Why is someone giving a furry a blow-job at the start of that video?

Is 2020 a sport? I thought it was some kind of music competition. Maybe that’s also a sport.

So that was kind of scary:

Only a few minutes before halftime, Eriksen was seen heading toward the sideline definitely looking a bit teetery. Someone threw the ball to him but he didn't catch it; it just hit him, and he fell to the ground. (And not in a soccer-dive kind of way).

He's reportedly awake in the hospital, no word on his condition other than that he's stable though. The match was suspended during the incident and for a while afterwards but the remainder is being played right now.
