They're talking about replacing his unsecured debt with debt secured against his shares in Tesla. Secured loans are always cheaper than unsecured ones, even if you're just someone like me, borrowing money secured against the value of my apartment. It sure must be nice to be a billionaire, living in that realm of rarified financial services only ones like are provided access to.

It's the financial version of a dick-waving contest.Khamon Cat sees nothing. Manbaby may be distracted by the news for a few minutes. But it's hard to image a person obsessing over a title when they're still controlling billions of dollars worth of wealth.
Grumpy Cat says: "GOOD."Musk was evidently crushed in front of a real-life crowd last night.
So happy Twitter has finally implemented a method to immediately delete one's account without a trace. Musk finally did something good. Thank You for posting the instruction. There's a more in-depth description and some YouTube videos here; but do be warned: Musk is ACTIVELY deleting the accounts of people who post these videos on Twitter, and maybe even those who simply link the article. Not "suspending", mind, but deleting them. For "copyright infringement". So if you're one of those still trying to hold onto your Twitter account, I would not post that link or the videos themselves there.
I read my way through at least a hundred comments in an article describing the event. What I found most interesting was the replies to one belligerent Muskfan/troll, in which people noted when they had stopped liking Musk. Many of them cited the incident in Thailand, where he accused one of the rescuers of being a pedophile. I'd forgotten all about that, because I wasn't paying any attention to Musk back then, but apparently it made quite an impact on other people's opinion of him.Musk was evidently crushed in front of a real-life crowd last night.
Yeah, that was a wake-up call for me as well. Before that happened, I hadn't really paid much attention to him as a person, he was just that billionaire guy who liked to invest in electric cars and space rockets, which seemed fine to me. He simply wasn't in the focus of my field of view.I read my way through at least a hundred comments in an article describing the event. That was the first time I really noticed Musk, and concluded he's a thoroughly nasty piece of work.I read my way through at least a hundred comments in an article describing the event. Same here. I did not have an opinion on him personally, and I thought the electric cars were great. I guess if I want to be honest I maybe had a very slight bias against him just because of the way people liked to gush about him, but that's a me thing. But then that whole thing with the cave diver happened and I really started to dislike him.Yeah, that was a wake-up call for me as well. But then he tried to inject himself into these rescue efforts with his bullshit techno fabulisms and his unhinged attacks on that diver, which made me aware of his real character.
Original:For years, Donald Trump has survived scandal, scorn and defeat and still managed to keep his warlord grip on the Republican Party. Even this month’s epic string of disasters, from his candidates’ losses in the midterms and his dinner with white supremacist Nick Fuentes and professed Hitler-fan Ye (Kanye West) to the tax fraud convictions of two of his companies, might not derail him.
But irrelevance might. In the critical weeks since his Nov. 16 campaign launch, the person who has dominated the right-wing attention economy isn’t Trump. It’s Elon Musk.
