The beard should be waaaaaay longer.

And why are all of them wearing headphones?
Yeah the headphones thing is kind of weird.

I asked it to start from scratch, but I am not sure it did.

I think that's the Arch user's older brother. He has tried repeatedly to wise up little brother to the "error" of using Arch to no avail. He tries to hide his scorn for "the little dude" but "Jesus..."

Love those old-school spherical profile keycaps.

IGN led me to a deal on an HP Envy mini-tower desktop, the TE01-5100t, I configured it with 32GB of RAM, a 1TB M2 drive, and a RTX4060, the processor is a i5-14400f (the f means no integrated graphics). Its a weird 10 core with 6 fast hyperthreaded cores and 4 efficient slower single-threaded cores. I'll add a 2TB second SSD (which has to be SATA) for /home. It's overkill for everything I do, except SL of course.
I upgraded the thing with the fastest CPU the mobo can handle, to more future-proof the thing, the i7-14700 (the f version) 8 multi-threaded p-cores and 12 single-threaded e-cores. this mobo does NOT have the problem that affected 13/14 series CPU's on other mobos. I'd upgrade from 64GB of RAM to 128, again for future-proofing, which apparently the mobo supports, but the only DDR4 64GB sticks I find are ECC which I'm not sure the mobo supports, and expensive.

64GB of RAM! Holy crap! I still remember when I built my first gaming rig with 64MB of RAM, which was high-end back then!

I remember scoffing at the 48 kB upgrade for the Apple II on the basis of, "How would I ever type 48,000 bytes? They're insane!"

My zx81 had 4k + a 16k expansion pack I got for it . The pack tended to wobble and crash the computer.

My Ti-59 had 960 program steps and I had to talk my father into buying it instead of the cheaper Ti-58 with only 240 steps because he was sure I would never need that long a program. I eventually convinced him because only the more expensive one had magnetic cards that could store his real estate and tax programs I promised to write for him.

The HP OfficeJet Pro 8020 is evil, I sometimes have to deal with one at work. It is satan, and eats cartridges for breakfast. It sometimes likes to do some kind of weird printer-prep thing, for no reason at all. I wish it was a laser printer.
TWO HP 8020's, including one that was kept as backup in the main building to replace any that died, have bought the farm at my workplace. Seriously, worst printer I've ever had to deal with. I hope they get replaced with proper color laser printers, but I doubt it.

Rather than spam up Beebo’s office suite thread with irrelevancies, I’ll brag about my Office 97 CD right here.
