And they all try and, of course, fail to use the website I admin, then write huffy emails to angrily denounce the "broken" site. "I have checked, and it seems you are unable to register as annoyingbastard@compuserve.com because there is already an account with that email address. It looks like you made that account a year ago/a month ago/an hour-and-a-half ago. I can send you a password reset link if you need it." "You are unable to reset your password because you do not have an account under this email address on this site. You may make an account by registering at this link ...."It happened because there was a bunch of people who were encouraged to use and buy computers over the years, who really should not have been.

OMG WHY WOULD YOU MAKE MY ELECTRONIC MAIL ADDRESS PUBLIC???And they all try and, of course, fail to use the website I admin, then write huffy emails to angrily denounce the "broken" site. "I have checked, and it seems you are unable to register as annoyingbastard@compuserve.com
I remember a couple of years ago, for like a two-month period there was a bizarre attempt by some people on the internet to create a wave of nostalgia for freaking bonzi buddy. The original invasive, infectious trojan app. Yeah, it didn't make any sense to me either; I wanted to grab some people and shake them. Luckily it never caught on as a thing.
Blech, I've come to hate OfficeJets - on principle and in practice. The various series are like multiple plagues on business printing. The HP OfficeJet Pro 8020 is evil, I sometimes have to deal with one at work.
With a little searching can get a used HP z800 which is like the best tower case ever built WITH all the internals for less than that. Tool-less hotswap everything including the power supply.the planned MSRP is $220.
Good because that turbo button changes the fan speedOh I know. My Corsair 4000D that has everything I need and I have no complaints about cost less than half that.
I just want a case that LOOKS like that.
Naming that function turbo was all-time world class "marketing."Good because that turbo button changes the fan speedThe originals changed the cpu speed so games didn't run too fast.
Yeah I guess you don't really need that nowadays, unless you're trying to play very old games. And if you're trying to do that, I think most DOS emulators or whatever will also emulate a slower CPU for you.Good because that turbo button changes the fan speedThe originals changed the cpu speed so games didn't run too fast.
Or spray paint. I'm sure someone makes that particular shade of .... beige? Ivory? If not, your friendly* local auto paint store can make a spray can of it.If you want a case that looks like that, I would suggest a '90s era Proliant.
As Linus points out here, it's not just one shade.Or spray paint. I'm sure someone makes that particular shade of .... beige? Ivory? If not, your friendly* local auto paint store can make a spray can of it.

Yeah, my uncle had a case that looked like that with the turbo thingy on the front. I think his case was absurdly tall though. If you want a case that looks like that, I would suggest a '90s era Proliant.
Greige!Or spray paint. I'm sure someone makes that particular shade of .... beige? Ivory?
My mother in law wanted me to give tech support on the pirated copy of Windows ME a "friend" installed on her computer because I was the one who gave her my old tower.
