In a way, we owe a debt to great pioneers of old like these. They had to sacrifice themselves so that we could learn things like, "peanut butter does NOT go with mayo".
And Skippy IS NOT peanut butter.

Now, now. If memory serves, no less a culinary authority than Elvis Presley was very fond of his fried peanut butter, mayo, and 'nana sammiches.

Peanut butter should have one main ingredient: peanuts. A little salt as well doesn't hurt.

What it doesn't need: added oils, or sugar, unless you're making a chocolate bar of some kind.
The only thing that stops me from buying that kind of peanut butter is all the constant stirring. I'm a little lazy that way.

I've honestly never tasted much of a diff between most of the peanut butter i've ever had.

Usually only thing I can pick up on is "this one is kinda sweet" or "this one isn't very sweet".
