The OP of the video posted a detailed description of the incident deep in another Twitter thread. He was backed against a cliff edge, so there was nowhere to run. Fortunately, he was standing near a small rock shelter, which is where he ducked at the very last millisecond. The rest of his party was farther away and sustained minor injuries and no fatalities. He also stated that they were incredibly lucky, because if they had been just 5 minutes farther along their trail, the avalanche would have wiped them out. The path ahead was completely covered, with glacial boulders the size of cars.

The largest star in the known universe is Stephenson 2-18. In dry scientific measurements, it has a radius 2150 times of the sun. The distance comparisons are fun. If you started driving from the center at 100 mph it would take 1000 years to reach the edge. It would fill the orbit of Saturn.
