Disclaimer:LG has officially announced a portable air purifier that you wear on your face like a mask. The PuriCare Wearable Air Purifier uses a pair of replaceable filters similar to what you’d find in LG’s range of air purifiers for the home, pairing them with battery-powered fans to help you breathe. LG says the device has sensors to detect when you’re breathing in or out, and adjusts the fans’ speeds accordingly.
It’s important to note, however, that LG’s press release doesn’t make any claims about the mask slowing the spread of the coronavirus, including whether it filters air as you exhale as well as inhale. LG declined to comment to The Verge when we asked about this directly, and said that it was waiting until certification and testing is complete to give full details.
can't wait for the first reports of Li-Ion-batteries exploding in some hipster's faceIm surprised it didn't start happening sooner.

That might not be to far off. We started with whatever, moved to more data on what worked and now it is not hard to find masks that are akin to bumper stickers. Hopping to electronics is next, especially since one of the problems is they are blocking face id."Excuse me, I got a call on my face mask."
Of course it's not far off. I just thought of it, which means someone is building it as we speak! That might not be to far off.
too late, just google "smartmask" on your favourite search engine - there seems already to be an abbundance availableOf course it's not far off. I just thought of it, which means someone is building it as we speak!
That is my gimmick! Most of the time when I think of something the next article is about how someone is patenting the idea.Of course it's not far off. I just thought of it, which means someone is building it as we speak!
Story of my life. That is my gimmick! Most of the time when I think of something the next article is about how someone is patenting the idea.
One was an idea a decade ago that apple should develop an ar solution. Cue apple glass. There is another part of the idea that strays into classified stuff so I will see what happens. If it comes to be I might have to conclude the cia bugged my brain.Story of my life.
I thought you had actually to produce an invention that realises the idea rather than just the idea itself (so I can't patent the idea of a perpetual motion machine and then demand royalties if and when someone actually comes up with a prototype -- I have actually to produce some sort of design or working model to be granted a patent). That is my gimmick! There those things called Software Patents and Business Method Patents which muddy the watersI thought you had actually to produce an invention that realises the idea rather than just the idea itself (so I can't patent the idea of a perpetual motion machine and then demand royalties if and when someone actually comes up with a prototype -- I have actually to produce some sort of design or working model to be granted a patent).
Yes, for a patent but we are talking about preliminary concepts. In the example I cited (which is far from the only time it has happened) I predicted a product that would be perfect for a particular company more than a decade before that company even announced it.I thought you had actually to produce an invention that realises the idea rather than just the idea itself (so I can't patent the idea of a perpetual motion machine and then demand royalties if and when someone actually comes up with a prototype -- I have actually to produce some sort of design or working model to be granted a patent).
Oy. I bought 4 of the 2nd gen as xmas gifts in 2006 cuz it seemed everyone was asking for one. I think they were $80USD, but I was not making a lot back then. I had to hold off on a computer purchase I was planning until mid-2007.I wanted an iPod Shuffle a year before the iPod Shuffle came out.
And Stroker Serpentine had synchronized it with SL avatars.I was joking about how smart it would be to patent a device to transfer haptical stimuli and once the porn industry reaches that level patent troll the living hell out of them... little did I know teledildonics was already a thing and they even already had a name for it...
I had the idea of LED traffic lights when I was in high school more than 33 years ago. I kinda wish I'd have known to patent that sucker. One was an idea a decade ago that apple should develop an ar solution. Cue apple glass.
