Here, have a Reddit thread concerning a mysterious grand jury case that sealed an entire floor at the D.C. federal courthouse today.

That is intriguing. However Reddit being what it is someone has to be silly about it. I like silliness so I'm quoting it.

If I click on the "news" tab I get news stories about google showing Trump's picture for "idiot" but the first page is just definitions of the word and random other stuff. I find it really amazing how Trump isn't just the top result, but how this goes on for pages after pages, covering his entire environment, family, business partners and other co-conspirators.

search engine malmare/adware is very common like Scam calls you get on your cell phone. forces your internet browser to a different search engine or similar looking fake site. any attempts to bypass it usually fails and routes it once it detects key words . i'm always removing it from my dads computer (hes likes opening up junk mail) or any older computers given to me to fix. your results are definitely seem to be manipulated to a degree. Myway is reading what your typing in. possibly installed without your consent!

Highly Recommend you get a techie to remove it asap.

Myway is apparently bundled with a lot of software applications. Your best bet is to vet download sites and only use the ones that come out as trustworthy. I like using alternativeto.net

It is certainly a continuing puzzle. I have decided it comes down to the same thing for all criminal enterprises: money. Or maybe blackmail. Hard for normal human beings not under the control of Putin to conceive.

Now I have. It found all kinds of stuff inserted into user data for Chrome. That's gone now and so it seems is the problem. Thanks for the help.
