I always thought this cheeto SOB would start a war somewhere, I just never guessed it would be in my own country. Then again, I'm not surprised, political parties and politicians have been nursing the division in the country since even before 9/11. Trump is just feeding the monster, but he's feeding it well. It's one thing to have fall outs with family and friends over political views, it's entirely another to not feel safe for having or expressing those views. Truth is, I honestly don't feel safe expressing my political views openly any longer.

Sure, we’ve experienced bouts of intense social strife since the American Civil War of 1861. I grew up with the assassination of Martin Luther King and raging street battles over civil rights and Vietnam. And yet this moment feels worse — much less violent, blessedly, but much more broadly divisive. There is a deep breakdown happening between us, between us and our institutions and between us and our president.

I think that someday we will look back on this man as president and the way we have acted as a country with deep shame.

Where exactly? At one of his rallies?

Obviously the president is president of the entire country but odds are when he is impeached he will be in DC. Got news for him. According to the numbers most likely an overwhelming majority of voters amongst the non-appointed people that work in the executive office complex (of which the WH is one building) voted for Hillary.
