Also, during that same meeting he told them that Netanyahu is THEIR Prime Minister, which beggars the idea that he believes them to hold loyalty to Israel, say more, than here. We also know that Trump believes stereotypes about Jewish folks and money from his past words to the effect that he didn't want any black man counting his money, but someone who wears a yarmulke. We also know that he courts neo-nazis. How he gets away with this on the one hand, and on the other, courting big-money Jewish donors like Adelson is anyone's guess.

I doubt that the man from NY would have any idea who she even was if not for Fox News and Trump blasting her after her remarks about AIPAC. During Obama's tenure, Keith Ellison who also hailed from the same exact seat, had similar words to say about Israeli influence in our political system, yet I don't recall anyone threatening to "blow his fucking head off".

Admittedly DHS is an obscenity but most of it already existed. Now the formerly-seperate components can communicate better though.

It would be nice if all of the DHS were idiotic agencies like the TSA. Unfortunately the creation of it moved in some good parts like the Coast Guard.

Most terrorists are inept. Few people remember the *first* World Trade Center bombing. That was a truck bomb set off in the parking garage beneath the towers. It caused some damage, but failed to bring the buildings down. Even with the 9/11 attack, the fourth plane never reached its target, because the jihadis didn't think to collect everyone's phones. Passengers heard about the the earlier crashes, and attacked the jihadis - they had nothing to lose at that point. So it crashed in a field, instead of the White House or US Capitol.

Most people willing to commit atrocities for a cause are "wrong in the head". You know who is doing the most to get back at middle eastern countries and Russia? Oil and gas drillers, who have brought prices down through fracking, and the renewables industry, who are going to make them obsolete.

‘She lies to everyone’: Feds say Mar-a-Lago intruder had hidden-camera detector in hotel

Prosecutors said at a court hearing Monday Yujing Zhang, arrested at Mar-a-Lago with a bevy of electronics, ‘lies to everyone she encounters’ and that a search of her hotel room found $8,000 cash and a hidden-camera detector.

A federal prosecutor argued in court Monday that Yujing Zhang, the Chinese woman arrested trying to enter President Donald Trump’s private Mar-a-Lago club in Palm Beach, “lies to everyone she encounters,” adding that a search of her hotel room uncovered more than $8,000 in cash, as well as a “signal-detector” device used to reveal hidden cameras.

Found in the search: $7,500 in U.S. hundred-dollar bills and $663 in Chinese currency, in addition to nine USB drives, five SIM cards and other electronics, according to federal prosecutor Rolando Garcia. Signal detectors are portable devices that can detect radio waves, magnetic fields and hidden-camera equipment.

Prosecutors are treating the case as a national-security matter and an FBI counterintelligence squad is investigating, sources familiar with the inquiry told the Miami Herald.

Zhang had in fact paid for a travel package that would include a visit to Mar-a-Lago — a fact that could weaken the government’s allegation that she lied to the Secret Service about the event in order to gain access to the president’s club. The party Zhang said she planned to attend had been promoted online by Li “Cindy” Yang, a South Florida massage-parlor owner who ran a business that promised Chinese clients photos and meetings with Trump.

Secret Service agent Samuel Ivanovich, who interviewed Zhang on the day of her arrest, testified at the hearing. He stated that when another agent put Zhang’s thumb-drive into his computer, it immediately began to install files, a “very out-of-the-ordinary” event that he had never seen happen before during this kind of analysis. The agent had to immediately stop the analysis to halt any further corruption of his computer, Ivanovich testified. The analysis is ongoing but still inconclusive, he said.
