Denson filed a lawsuit in November 2017 claiming she was harassed and faced sexual discrimination during her time working for the campaign.

The campaign's lawyer responded by saying she had violated her NDA and should pay $1.5 million. An arbitrator ordered her to pay nearly $50,000, according to The Washington Post.

"My client believes that the campaign has been using these NDAs as a bludgeon against workers who want to speak out and anybody who wants to make a comment that could be construed as critical of the president of the United States," David Bowles, a lawyer for Denson, told The Washington Post.

Hiding behind NDA's to commit an assortment of what would normally be unlawful acts or violations of federal law under the EEOC. Of course, the criminal-in-chief would do that. Likely he would also just love to abolish the EEOC altogether.

This, I think, is him bringing his business, or criminal if you prefer, sensibilities into the political sphere. He has, for a very long time now, used assorted devices used by business to escape accountability; tax avoidance methods, NDA's among them. He has always considered himself King Donald, accountable to nobody, well prior to his theft of the presidency.

Also, only a third of the Senate seats were up for election and most of them were held by Democrats, so it was pretty much inevitable that they would lose a few.

And yet Democrats won 22 out of 35 races, the Republicans only won 11, with the remaining two going to independent candidates (who are both associated with the Democratic Party).
