I have never loved K-Pop fans and teenagers more than I do right now.

Somebody pointed out on Twitter, though, that because having a ticket doesn't guarantee admission if, nothing they did stopped anyone from attending the rally if they wanted to.

This trick was so successful because Trump's entourage were so anxious to be able to tell the boss what a success the rally was going to be, and how once he kicked his campaign off, the polls would start turn his way, so he'd concentrate on that, instead of causing even more chaos and problems for them to fix by rage tweeting, that they never stopped to think that maybe they were being had.

The way they conned themselves, and him, into hyping the event so much that expectations were so ludicrously raised is absolutely glorious, but even without the hype, the fact remains that, even in the Trump heartlands, his rally enjoyed a similar attendance to that of a mid-range hockey team, even though tickets were free.


Obviously attendance isn't everything, but his rallies were the campaign last time -- if his fans aren't so keen on the live shows this season, then he's got nothing left.

During his Tumbleweed Tulsa rally to a 2/3 empty stadium (based on fire marshal's ticket count), he admitted slowing testing to avoid damaging his re-election. Basically admitting killing tens of thousands of people unnecessarily. Re-opening the country will kill thousands more in coming months.

Who, maybe, don't want to know. The ones who still think it's a hoax. The ones who still think it's just another flu. Republican lawmakers and members of Congress.
I'm not sure what will convince them, bedstraw nothing, so far, has. Maybe if someone they know dies who they know for a fact didn't have any other condition they could blame it on.
I'd prefer the light to go on before that had to happen, whoever's loved ones it happens to.

It's not necessary to convince his racist base, they are beyond redemption. But they represent about ~30% of voters. You only have to convince the people in the middle who have a brain in order to get a landslide.
