The dislike of Trump within the military is bigger than the one for Obama, so that's one thing where Trump topped Obama. Missing in the diagram is the neutral point of view, which is the rest.

The higher the ranks, the more dislike for Trump is there. Also males are much more in favor for him than females or other ethnics.

The reasons why Trump's reputation is on such a big steady decline are:

• 59% are against taking money out of the military budget to build the wall at the Mexican border (very surprising).

I have not seen that one but it tracks with other polls. That his favourability with the military is in the toilet as compared to the past, where they traditionally skewed conservative.

"Globalist" is a bad word to his supporters, likely to him, too. Also a code word/abbreviation for "Jewish conspiracy for world domination and replacement of white people" among his white supremacist buddies, and his base.
So they likely wouldn't listen to an explanation of globalism any more than they would an explanation of socialism.
Also, the self-described proud nationalists won't see that they should care what the world thinks, and probably won't even when it bites them in the ass.

That would be because, while the budget is bigger, it really doesn't go to the soldiers, or even officers; it goes to the people making weapons. Its basically the money to buy better toys, not to cover wages, or vets, or anything like that.

The military is getting a notable pay increase of 3.1% in 2020, which is paid for as part of the defense spending bill. So, yeah, some of the budget increase is going into servicemembers' paychecks. What's interesting is that Trump is trying to claim this is the biggest military pay increase in "more than ten years". While it's true that it's the largest increase in the past several years which have seen increases of just over 1%, his claim is false. In 2010, the military received a 3.4% pay increase, and in 2009, the pay increase was 3.9%.

Whether or not Trump is removed from office, we're already too far gone. The fact that someone so unfit for the presidency was elected and has hung on for so long... our system is broken.

I hate to say it, but you're not wrong. Trump is a very overt symptom of a deep-seated and growing societal problem in the US, and it (the problem) won't be going away any time soon.
