Gorbachev: Trump's Nuke Treaty Withdrawal 'Not The Work Of A Great Mind'

In an interview with the Russian outlet Interfax that was flagged and translated by The New York Times and other outlets, [Former Soviet Union leader Mikhail] Gorbachev, 87, wondered aloud: “Is it really that hard to understand that rejecting these agreements is, as the people say, not the work of a great mind.”

Gorbachev called Trump’s decision “a mistake” and “very strange.”

“Do they really not understand in Washington what this can lead to?” he asked.

Well the thing is that both sides have been accusing each other of violating the INF treaty since years. This is one quite old, and important disarmament treaty still in action.

So the regular way would be to renegotiate. Since this is a bilateral treaty, you got this plus Trump's usual bully boy behavior on top of it. And after that, you got Trump in Moscow, shaking hands with Putin, while the Red Army is going to host the parade for Trump, which Trump still cannot have in Washington, D.C.

...and three weeks after a renewal of this treaty has been made, you are going to have Trump threatening to withdraw again from it, if this and that will not happen, like he now does with Mexico on the new trade agreement after three weeks due to the refugees traveling through Mexico towards the USA right now.

The thing is though that Trump's national security advisor, John Bolton, is clearly a warmonger. And now he's the one going to renegotiate. Good luck with that one.

I've got a better one: Trump has the habit to shred paper into pieces, when he's done with it. No exceptions. Many of those papers though must be archived by law.

So the White House has some special staff, which just puts the shreds back together for that exact reason.

It's clear by the very fact of tweeting that Trump is using something, most likely his phone from the chronic typos and spelling errors, but from where does the "Twitter for iPhone" line come?

I like the way they're trying to spin it:
