The Future Of Publishing Is Just Books About Donald Trump Forever Until You Are Dead
President Donald Trump on Wednesday accused China of attempting to interfere in the 2018 midterm elections.
"China has been attempting to interfere in our upcoming 2018 election ... against my administration," Trump said in an address to world leaders as the chair of a UN Security Council (UNSC) meeting in New York.
He added, "They do not want me or us to win, because I am the first president ever to challenge China on trade."
They took out a public ad. Nothing like what the Russians have been doing.
Bannon and Christie together set out to explain to Trump federal law. Months before the election, the law said, the nominees of the two major parties were expected to prepare to take control of the government. The government supplied them with office space in downtown DC, along with computers and rubbish bins and so on, but the campaigns paid their people. To which Trump replied: Fuck the law. I don’t give a fuck about the law. I want my fucking money. Bannon and Christie tried to explain that Trump couldn’t have both his money and a transition.
Shut it down, said Trump. Shut down the transition.
Here Christie and Bannon parted ways. Neither thought it was a good idea to shut down the transition, but each had his own misgivings. Christie thought that Trump had little chance of running the government without a formal transition. Bannon wasn’t so sure if Trump would ever get his mind around running the federal government; he just thought it would look bad if Trump didn’t at least seem to prepare. Seeing that Trump wasn’t listening to Christie, he said: “What do you think Morning Joe will say if you shut down your transition?” What Morning Joe would say – or at least what Bannon thought it would say – was that Trump was closing his presidential transition office because he didn’t think he had any chance of being president.
Trump stopped hollering. For the first time he seemed to have listened.
“That makes sense,” he said.
WTF? I know we make jokes about him all the time but I would put any random millennial against him in a civics quiz and bet money on the kid. Or maybe enter him in 'are you smarter than a fifth grader'.
The fifth graders would stomp all over him.WTF? I know we make jokes about him all the time but I would put any random millennial against him in a civics quiz and bet money on the kid. Or maybe enter him in 'are you smarter than a fifth grader'.
If that horrifies you, do NOT read Bob Woodward's book. If you do, bring clean underwear.WTF? I know we make jokes about him all the time but I would put any random millennial against him in a civics quiz and bet money on the kid. Or maybe enter him in 'are you smarter than a fifth grader'.
I am starting to wonder if he is having mini-strokes.I listened to part of his press conference. I think I lost most of my brain cells as he word slurried his way though it.
Oh, it does not horrify me, he has just gone from 'look at the idiot .... yuk yuk yuk' to 'look at the idiot'.If that horrifies you, do NOT read Bob Woodward's book. If you do, bring clean underwear.
What Trump likely "fell in love" with was the tinpot dictator caressing his endless need for praise.Knowing how Trump treated his wives, Vladimir must have seen this coming, I guess: Trump on Kim Jong-un: 'We fell in love'
