So scared, my pattern tonight seems to be sleep for an hour or two, look at the news for a few minutes go back to sleep. I was hoping for a Kamalah landslide which doesn't look like it is in the cards but I pray she wins.

I may have spoke too soon about Brown, and overall I am feeling very pessimistic at the moment. It isn't over but it is not looking good. Looking at maps she can win without Georgia if the Blue Wall holds and have some wiggle room in the Southeast.

But just fuck. It should not be this fucking close.

It should NOT be this close. This is a very broken country.

I've resigned myself that I'm going to have read Dietrich Bonhoeffer after the election to help get myself through the next four years.

I think what we're seeing is that Kamala comes in a few percentage points under what Biden did 4 years ago.

Basically the same party, very similar policies and the same opponent only more demented.

I think the difference between now and Biden 4 years ago is one thing: her gender.

The entire world has shifted right over those four years. And Harris may be underperforming compared to Biden in 20204, but I strongly believe that Biden was have underperformed compared to himself if he had stayed in the race.

They have the Senate, which makes the presidency almost a moot point considering they also control the Judiciary (SC+misc judges around the US).

FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK. She needs 82... he needs ?!??!?! 4 !?!?!?!

/me re-arranges the deck chairs.

Will be fun watching them try to blame the deportation/tariff driven hyper inflation on the dems. I'm sure they'll find a way to delude the masses into believing it.

But I hope it absolutely DESTROYS red families, regardless of whom they blame for it. Fuck them all, they want TFG? Choke on him.
