I loved Warren's response to the "marriage between one man and one woman" question. Even the cynic in me, knowing this is prepared, has to give her credit for having such an awesome response. But then this is CNN. They never just hand a microphone to a random Schmoe.

When you just step back, it's almost adorable at the lengths our ruling class has to go to to keep the show going and entertaining enough that we just don't set fire to the whole thing. It's all kind of surreal right now. People are talking as if Biden is still a consideration. Bernie has had a heart attack and nobody really knows what this means, even though we kinda do know what it means. Warren is on top and I just can't imagine how she's going to hold the spotlight to the final act playing both Progressive Samantha and Establishment Serena. Why do I have this dreadful feeling that the extra special guest star hasn't entered the stage yet?

Same here in West Virginia. By the time we had our primary, Clinton was already the official candidate, having crossed the line of necessary votes. (I voted for Bernie anyway.) And as for the general... well, that was just spitting in the wind.
Yeah, DC is the last primary. Part of the reason I respect Bernie was he stayed in until DC had a chance to vote, even though it was obvious there was nothing mathematically stopping HRC at that point. Most politicians drop out so if you backed the wrong candidate you never get a chance to even cast a vote for your candidate.

It is also is why I lost respect to HRC. He got stabbed in the back at the convention and she did not say it was wrong.

Given how well known Biden is, his campaign expenditures should be getting more traction than I'm seeing.
Yes, but traditionally a vice presidentship is often a golden handshake out of higher office more than it is a launching pad. It is the rare president who chooses a real competitor.
