Right, testing errors fit Occam's Razor since usually people who have caught something are immune to it.
Occam's Razor would imply those people got infected by different lines of Covid-19, not a testing error...

Because you are immune to one line might not say much about others,...

Boris thanks the NHS
According to the BBC, he's going to finish recovering at the really posh country home supplied to Prime Ministers, Chequers. This is the classic move of aristocrats through history - leave for the countryside when a plague was in town. To bad the rest of us don't have that option.

I'm sorry, but I don't think that's really fair.

He's not leaving town to escape Covid-19.

The poor man's just spent a week in intensive care precisely because he's already been infected by the virus, and now he's going to Chequers to recover from the experience.

That can't properly be characterised as going to Chequers to avoid Covid-19 -- that's been and gone.

Still something that's not an option for the vast majority of us, which is to leave the city for a rest in our countryside castle.

... or relocating to a luxury retreat after being identified as a vector...

Sure, but Daniel's criticism of him was that, like HM, or Charles and Camilla, or like some other people with second homes in the countryside (though not so grand) he was leaving the city for his country retreat to try to avoid the pandemic, which does not seem to me fair, since he's going there to recover from the pandemic of which he has already been a victim.

Furthermore, since, rightly or wrongly, he gets the use of Chequers as a perk of the job, just as the US President gets the use of Camp David, I don't really see he can fairly be criticized for using it during his recuperation -- he's not going to be working for a week or so, so what does it matter where he is?

There's plenty about his conduct and decision-making before and during the crisis for which Keir Starmer and Labour will rightly hold him to account when he is recovered, after all, but I just don't think his choice of residence while he's recovering from an illness serious enough to put him in intensive care for a week can properly be included in the list of complaints and grievances.

IMHO Fauci did the right thing. Conservatives yelling for his removal just will spread his ideas among the MAGAts. By outing his insane boss Fauci found a way for his message to go viral.

Faux probably have not piled up on Fauci yet as even they found out the laws of nature cannot be bartered with. They already have a lot of explanation to do now that everything goes south - denying reality won't help.
