that could have made a fine campaign slogan if it had appeared sooner.

Reporters vs Reality.

First how it was reported by Head of BBC Political editor Laura Keunssberg, Famous BBC political pundit Robert Peston, Sun Political Editor Tom Newton Dunn and ITVs political reporter Paul Brand.

And the video of what actually happened. Viewer discretion is advised, watching the "100 activists" assaulting the guy is hard. You'll have to watch closely, even the victim barely noticed.

I agree the licence fee made sense when the only TV was the BBC. It's long past it sell by date. Not that the licence fee will alter my vote in any direction.

Wow ... if those are different sides they are actually all calm.

Faux, and even politicians, over here scream bloody murder over less.

Yes, it is a model that has not adapted to changing times. The irony is people in other countries that want to do it can not do so legally.

Sure, there is britbox and it is even cheeper ... but it is more a static library than a stream of live content. The perplexing thing is the beeb already streams their shows, that and their archive would be worth paying for but nope.

In general, BBC isn't stopping you or anyone else overseas watching their content because of licence fee issues but because another company -- HBO or whoever -- has the US distribution rights for whatever it is you want to watch.

So 24 hours from now all the problems will be resolved at last?

The justification for the licence fee is that it enables the BBC to concentrate on quality programming rather than chasing ratings, though frequently the Beeb seem to forget this and go head to head with ITV.

If the licence fee goes, the BBC would presumably become a subscription-only channel, and doubtless it would be a very good one, but that would render it inaccessible to the poorest members of the viewing public, which some people might consider a shame.

Olive Johnson was so afraid of getting caught by a reporter unannounced on live tv that he hid in a walkin fridge.

Fake news, according to the Conservatives.

Apparently the dog ate his homework, the big boys did it and ran away, you wouldn't know her, because she goes to a different school

Conservative sources subsequently insisted that Johnson was “categorically not hiding” in the fridge, from which Johnson emerged carrying a crate of milk bottles – but instead his aides were taking a moment to prep the PM for a separate, pre-agreed interview.
Pay no attention to that man behind the fridge door!

I guess this is sarcasm

seems there is a good chance, that the result will be a hung parliament again, with more ideologists on the right as well as on the left, (due to the development of the 2 big parties in the uk)

but we might see

Can someone give me a link to the big current picture? I've lost track. It's hard to even keep track of things over here. Some day this will happen in the impeachment process. Some day it will go to the senate.

The big picture is that tomorrow is a general election for the House of Commons, that polls are not to be trusted and anything is possible from Tories are getting a majority up to Corbyn might become prime minister.
