Then again, he might have been watching too much Alex JonesI saw a video this morning that was allegedly from the shooter, proclaiming he hated all republicans and crooks and that they had the wrong mother fucker. I also recall from a few weeks ago the dried up hags on The View talking about someone should just kill Trump (which would make them sad and unemployed as they can only rant and rage about Trump and no one else could fill that void in their empty withered hearts) but I cannot seem to find it, probably because I am not doing the proper search words.
My take is, the media is partially responsible for this happening. The constant spewing of Trump is Mussolini, Hitler, Pol Pot etc, Madonna crying out she thought often about blowing up the White House, etc was all set to inspire someone to act. I suspect he registered Republican to "gain supeh sekrit access" to events and make him so wanted by all the ladies or some crap.
Given we have plenty of nutjobs in both parties, I'm not really all that surprised.
It is a capital mistake to theorize before one has data. Insensibly one begins to twist facts to suit theories, instead of theories to suit facts
But others from questionable sources could be swiftly fabricated. There’s value in comparing pictures from multiple sources at the event, or noting which agencies are distributing them, Ong said.
“You would like to see videos and a news account and analysis, to have multiple sources and to be corroborated and verified by multiple experts, in order to make sure that it is authentic in the age of deep fakes,” he said.
“These are the usual responses that we get from the accelerationists in the far-right channels … you’ve got people identifying the shooter as antifa, or as a trans person, as a Jewish person,” Rogers said. “You’ve got the usual suspects being trotted out. And then on the more QAnon channels you’ve got ‘this is the left trying to bait us into a civil war’.”
If the media is responsible. Then so too is Donald Jailbird Trump:My take is, the media is partially responsible for this happening.
Can you find that video? Is that confirmed from the shooter versus just some other dude?I saw a video this morning that was allegedly from the shooter, proclaiming he hated all republicans and crooks and that they had the wrong mother fucker.
This doesn't really make sense. Pennsylvania is a swing state. Usually when someone registers with the opposite party it's so they can vote in the primary of the party in power in states like mine where one party holds overwhelming power. ...and nobody would think that registering as a Republican makes them wanted by all the ladies. ...a democrat in particular would not think that. I think you're trying to be fair to the other side, and I respect that, but this seems like a big reach.I suspect he registered Republican to "gain supeh sekrit access" to events and make him so wanted by all the ladies or some crap.
I doubt he’s won the election. Ford faced two attempts during the 1976 campaign and still lost decisively, and that was with a much less polarised electorate. MAGA Republicans will get crazier. Democrats will remember Trump’s constant calls for violence, his joking about the attack on Paul Pelosi, and his opposition to an automatic rifle ban. Nothing else will change much.Wouldn’t it have been worse if he had died? Rather, that there would be more sympathy from conservative type voters who dislike him but now that he’s gone, they vote for his party?
When I heard about the shooting, I saw just a small photo, and I thought it was Biden. I was like OMG,
then Oh!
then “not seriously hurt”. oh
That's been disproved. The Thomas Crooks who made that donation has a different middle name and is 69 years old. FEC record at https://docquery.fec.gov/pdf/728/202102049425215728/202102049425215728_189746.pdfCool heads needed as political fringe dwelleAt this moment, all I’ve heard is that he donated 15$ to Dems a couple of years ago, that he’s a registered Republican, and that he was bullied in highschoo/an outcast. Does it really need to be more than that?
Hmm. Something doesn't add up. The FEC filing says Pittsburgh, PA 15102, however 15102 is the zip code for Bethel Park. Also the street address is in Bethel Park, not Pittsburgh. That's been disproved. The Thomas Crooks who made that donation has a different middle name and is 69 years old.
Roll your eyes all you want.
Projection... projection... projection... ffs. no originality.
Um, sure is good to know that the police can handle this sort of thing...The gunman had his father’s AR-style rifle and was perched atop a nearby roof when some rallygoers pointed him out to local law enforcement, said two law enforcement officials who spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity to discuss an ongoing criminal probe.
A local law enforcement officer climbed to the roof and found Crooks, who pointed the rifle at the officer. The officer retreated down the ladder, and the gunman quickly fired toward Trump, the officials said. That’s when U.S. Secret Service gunmen shot him, the officials said.
