I'm not as conspiracy-theory-proof as I'd like to be, because I'm harboring serious doubts about what exactly happened when somebody supposedly tried to assassinate Donald Trump.

* How did security fail so badly that a sniper was on that roof?
* Where did Trump go after he was pulled down from the stage? You'd think reporters would be ALL OVER the hospital and doctors who treated Trump.
* Why has no medical report been issued? The man was (supposedly) SHOT, and even if it was grazing wound, there should be some kind of report.
* Why was Trump so poised and photogenic as he was carried away from the stage. The man is a coward, so I really doubt he acts well in sudden emergency, but he IS a consummate showman and that looked very much like a showman's response to scripted event.
* What was the shooter's motive? No polemics, no rantings, an apparent Trump supporter... and why was he doing this?

Answers should be forthcoming. I'm waiting.....

After the shooting it seems Trump was taken to a hospital called Butler Memorial which was ten miles or so from the rally site.


He was only there for a couple of hours or so before his motorcade left, heading directly to the airport in Pittsburgh. Media weren't allowed onto the immediate hospital grounds while he was there and had to stage across the street.


It sounds like this hospital was pre-chosen in case of any incidents - I guess that's something they arrange for every place a VIP goes, which I guess makes sense.

This does no inspire confidence in security measures. Yes, it's an incredibly challenging task, to protect a candidate, but this effort seems so unfocused. At the very least, you'd expect them to have delayed Trump's getting up on stage.

AND, per Morning Joe, there were Secret Service countersnipers inside the very building where the shooter positioned himself!

Namely, Chaya Raichik, who runs the prominent far-right X account Libs of TikTok, has spent the week doggedly pursuing everyday retail workers, teachers, and public safety personnel who made insensitive remarks in the wake of the incident.

For example, after one social media user posted a video confronting a Home Depot cashier for making a Facebook comment that read, “To bad they weren’t a better shooter!!!!!,” Raichik’s account shared the footage with the caption, “Hi @HomeDepot!
