Trumpty Dumpty is damaging the NSA at large scale and is a threat to national security.
The NSA is planning a "big delete" of websites and internal network content that contains any of these 27 banned words by Trump's executive order:
This list has unwanted consequences, because e.g. privilege escalation is a well known term in the security world which has nothing to do with DEI. Also documents with "bias" or "inclusion" are to be deleted as well. "Bias" is important in context of RNG and cryptography, while "inclusion" is part of various security category terms.
The NSA is busy trying to identify mission-related stuff before the delete happens, but has not enough work force to do so. A manual review is impractical. So they are skimming through the data they got right now with search technics and "data science development program interns" in order to reduce false positives.
The NSA is expecting an "unintended downtime" of "mission-related" web sites. The total impact is yet unknown.
