Aid is still flowing from America to Ukraine. American aircraft carrying lethal aid just landed in Rzeszów the other day. From there, the aid will move from Poland to Ukraine. Anybody who tells you that Trump is getting in the way of Ukrainian aid is a fucking moron blinded by their own cognitive bias. Don't worry, I brought proof:

Also while the Americans and russians are publicly acting like progress is being made in behind the scenes peace talks, both side are currently gearing up for a larger conflict. For example, American security advisors are suggesting that all NATO countries increase their military spending to 5%. Go look this one up, really. Also, russian ships are being seized in the Baltic and the russian government appears to be ready to attempt to conduct illegal patrols in the Baltic Sea through use of russian naval forces confronting the NATO forces, which are being conducting Operation Baltic Sentry. The russian goal in this is to create an international incident. And it's increasingly looking like it will happen.

UK'S PM Keir Starmer thinks that Ukraine is still on "irreversible path" to Nato membership, tells Zelenskyy so.

According to a Downing Street readout of the call with the Ukrainian president, Starmer stressed “the UK’s concrete support for Ukraine, for as long as it’s needed”.

It went on: “He was unequivocal that there could be no talks about Ukraine, without Ukraine. Ukraine needed strong security guarantees, further lethal aid and a sovereign future, and it could count on the UK to step up.

“The prime minister reiterated the UK’s commitment to Ukraine being on an irreversible path to Nato, as agreed by allies at the Washington summit last year.”

On Wednesday, the US president suddenly announced that he and Vladimir Putin had spoken at length and agreed to begin negotiations over a ceasefire in Ukraine.

Trump said it was unlikely Kyiv would win back all its territory, and that he was “OK” with Ukraine not having Nato membership, a major concession to Moscow made before any formal talks have begun. The US defence secretary, Pete Hegseth, speaking at a Nato meeting in Brussels, also ruled out Ukraine’s membership of the alliance and the restoration of Crimea and other territories occupied by Moscow since 2014.

Well the issue is that it seems that Trump wants to have peace talks without Ukraine. This only happens normally when a country is totally defeated, which Ukraine obviously is not. So when USA and Russia would enter peace talks without Ukraine taking in, it would violate the Ukraine as sovereign state.

So this sounds more like "stating the obvious way to handle such stuff" to me. It would also be quite rude and not honor the deaths of Ukrainian soldiers in that war if Trump would handle it like that. Not that Trump would care.

What the UK could do is pulling out of Five Eyes. The US intelligence community really likes to do stuff via GCHQ if it is even "too hot to handle" in the US itself. So this would be quite annoying until new ways are found. Then again Trump does not care about that community either.
