It's possible that a meteor might have impacted the Moon in the middle of the lunar eclipse last night, and the flash of the impact has apparently been captured on multiple live feeds of the eclipse.

See for example this feed from Griffith Observatory in southern California. Watch the (on this video) bottom left quadrant of the Moon at 3:43:11

Now watch this feed from Morocco. From this camera's perspective, the area of the impact is more in the middle left than the lower left, but it is the precise same location on the lunar surface. At 1:20:47

Appearing as it does in the exact same spot in feeds from such widely separated locations on Earth proves that it was not a localized flash caused by an airplane or orbiting satellite.

The appearance of the flash is consistent with other impacts that have been recorded before:

The real time of the possible impact event was 04:41:43 UTC. Feel free to check other videos and feeds if you are able to figure out how to sync up the correct times.

Ultima Thule in 3D. Cross your eyes to see the 3D view, or feed into some 3D glasses or software. It is also in higher resolution from new photos downloaded. We'll be getting new data for the next 18 months, because bandwidth from beyond Pluto is like 1 kbps.

There is a heavy duty fight happening between Apple and Facebook. Facebook had an agreement with Apple which allowed them to use a distribution method for apps with root access intended for internal use only. Foolishly they used that to collect any/all information on user's phones who agreed in exchange for a payment. Apple got pissed and revoked Facebook's access to the distribution method which instantly broke many of their internal apps.

Apple bans Facebook’s Research app that paid users for data

In the wake of TechCrunch’s investigation yesterday, Apple blocked Facebook’s Research VPN app before the social network could voluntarily shut it down. The Research app asked users for root network access to all data passing through their phone in exchange for $20 per month. Apple tells TechCrunch that yesterday evening it revoked the Enterprise Certificate that allows Facebook to distribute the Research app without going through the App Store.

TechCrunch had reported that Facebook was breaking Apple’s policy that the Enterprise system is only for distributing internal corporate apps to employees, not paid external testers. That was actually before Facebook released a statement last night saying that it had shut down the iOS version of the Research program without mentioning that it was forced by Apple to do so.

Tornado warning in one county, and a blizzard warning in literally the next county over. That's pretty wild.
Yeah, it's been pretty crazy around here. And they're talking about snow levels getting close to the valley floor overnight tonight. It won't snow where I am, but it's going to be a chilly day tomorrow.

Wouldn’t be bad to have a little of that good old fashioned Global Warming right now!

Oh, right...
I’m used to it being about 42 degrees and raining 🌧 at this time of year.
I sure don’t expect clear blue skies (not a cloud ⛅ in sight) and fuckin’ T-shirt weather!
