The Washington Post reported that Trump was fond of giving away ceremonial keys while he was president, telling Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that he could use it to gain entry basically forever.

The state appeals court ruling says that the prosecution's decision to have witnesses give testimony in court about prior alleged sex offenses by Weinstein other than the ones he was then being tried for, improperly prejudiced the jury. The ruling was so shocking that Weinstein's own team didn't even expect it.

Not to worry though; Weinstein was also convicted in California, so the immediate effect of the ruling is that Weinstein is just going to be transferred from his current prison in New York to a prison in California.

Ford Motor Company has only sold 10.000 electric cars in Q1 2024.

Worse: they have lost $132.000 per vehicle, so $1.32bn in total.

The company said it is its “intention” to be have EV pricing cover the actual costs of building each EV, rather than covering all the research and development costs, within the next 12 months. But a price war among EVs for about a year and a half has made even that measure of profitability very difficult said Ford CFO John Lawler. He said while Ford has removed about $5,000 in cost on each Mustang Mach-E, “revenue is dropping faster than we can take out the cost.”

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are in a big trial right now which determines ownership about their $500m winery. Due to mistakes in the previous trial it is now before court again.

Jolie claimed that Pitt was abusive towards her and her children. Pitt declined these accusations and demanded proof.

Jolie then argued that Pitt made her sign NDAs, which forbid her to speak about the events.

Instead of telling that such NDAs have no power before the law, Pitt went on with it and told: show the court those NDAs you are talking about, so that the judge can take a look by himself.

The answer of Jolie's lawyer to that is asking to see these NDAs with any third parties is expensive, waste, unreasonable and abusive.

True, but I'd always figured that was just to protect Jared's businesses, which got a lot of scrutiny thanks to the blatant nepotism during Trump's admin. I haven't seen anything to suggest that either one of them has positively turned on him.
