Yes, but I think the point is that, consistently, men who described themselves as "moderates" answered the questions in much the same way as did men who described themselves as "conservatives," and that there was a similar, though less marked, distinction between "moderate" women and "progressives."

That is, it would seem that, knowing someone's answers to those questions, you'd have a better than average chance of guessing whether someone would describe themselves as progressive or not, but to guess whether they were were moderate or conservative would be more like tossing a coin.

Has to be new. When I went to church (as a kid), I don't recall any celebration of Seder beyond the basic nods of recognition from the priest during sermon that another faith does something COMPLETELY DIFFERENT.

So a Faith to Faith meeting, providing historical context? OK, that's not so bad. But I'll just watch Religion for Breakfast on YouTube; I'm lazy that way. It's way high-content without being boring.

I remember growing up, we had the Palm Sunday mass with the priest leading everyone in reciting "Crucify him, crucify him". That stopped sometime in my mid to late teens - fortunately - but I believe to this day some religious works subject to UNFORTUNATE implications, such as the Gospel of Matthew and the Book of Relevations should be restricted to at least 200 level academic study. You need a brickload of historical context to get it right.

We white people need to stop it with the cultural appropration, K? We end up being uber-Otakas, squealing like a 10 year old girl while bashing in people's heads shouting "You're doing it wrong!!". Just not cool.

I took a look around at how the other three are doing.

I went there last month purely out of curiosity as I saw it was one of the last ones.

It’s really really weird in there. No stock in half of it. The clothes look oddly relatively fresh, but all the housewares stuff is CLEARLY years old. They had 2 full isles of plastic storage buckets, individually placed on the shelves to fill the space. Like a 2 by 3 foot storage bin.

Also, my favourite part, the magazine rack is full of stuff from 2016. Like every magazine was the same month in 2016.

This store has been here for as long as I've lived in Kendall .. probably go in once every 3 months looking for something specific and it's the same .. few customers, 1 cashier, A/C barely on.. store is mostly stocked but definitely no foot traffic like Walmart - I suspect mainly due to not having a full grocery and some of their pricing .. went there this past Saturday and I was only the 10th car in their lot .. sad.. worker said they have no plan on closing yet

I haven't been to K-mart in 20 years, but I was expecting a Target-like store. The store was too big for the amount of inventory, and there was virtually no one there (it was a real "end of the world" feeling). But they do still have a little bit of everything, including a pretty large grocery section. Everything was clean, the shelves were fronted and items were easy to find. Quality of everything is still K-mart, you can just tell. The next time you need to buy a kitchen stove, bathing suit and screwdriver, this is your place!
