There's apparently things Graham doesn't want to know about. I wonder what those could be...
And this would be bad why? Hell, if I were a Dem in congress I'd be going 'That's an excellent idea, I think we should do just that.'

Graham doesn't quite understand threats. And this would be bad why? Hell, if I were a Dem in congress I'd be going 'That's an excellent idea, I think we should do just that.'
One of the rioters who stormed the Capitol on Jan. 6 is asking a federal court to let her leave the country so she can make the most of a Mexican vacation she booked prior to the insurrection. In a court filing on Monday, Jenny Cudd’s attorneys said their client ”planned and prepaid for a weekend retreat with her employees” in Riviera Maya, Mexico, later this month and would like to attend. Cudd, the owner of a Midland, Texas, flower shop, told the court that the trip is “a work-related bonding retreat for employees and their spouses.”
Fat chance of that happening. Fat chance of any of these guys doing either that or doing the right thing. They don't do the right thing, like ever. They don't care what voters want as evidenced by their behavior while in office voting as their donors wish them to rather than their constituents. They don't even want voters voice to be heard at the polls as evidenced by their behavior post-election and now by their behavior in state legislatures that pretty much may guarantee that Trump will win in 2024.
I kinda doubt Wheezy McBabyfingers is still going to be around by then. They don't even want voters voice to be heard at the polls as evidenced by their behavior post-election and now by their behavior in state legislatures that pretty much may guarantee that Trump will win in 2024.

I entirely agree -- while the Republicans have long seemed cartoonishly far-right by European standards, they've now degenerated into something far worse, and they're now demonstrating their rejection of the whole democratic process and the rule of law.

"If you don't do your homework, you're getting ice cream after dinner tonight and I mean it!"Graham doesn't quite understand threats.
The first time I saw that, I took it as no one had even discussed the need for DHS to be concerned about the gathering. But knowing that administration, they are probably hiding the real facts.
If no one did, in fact, even discuss the matter, I'd want to ask who told them not to, particularly after how the protests against racial injustice were handled in DC over the summer. The first time I saw that, I took it as no one had even discussed the need for DHS to be concerned about the gathering.
