Sounds about right. Pre and post 'cloud kids'. They've also got a pretty different notion about driving and car ownership as well. Especially here in the states where, for decades, the car you drove was pretty much an extension of your personal identity and you were judged by it.I think the most recent significant generational break comes with people born much after the mid-1980s.
Much later than that and you've grown up with the internet and smartphones, and most people missed out on getting established in a career and buying a home before the 2008 crash and now Covid-19.
Now? A lot of youths look at the responsibility of vehicle ownership as a burden they'd rather not be saddled with. And who can blame them? =)
