I would fire the entire cabinet and Trump whisperers like Steven Miller and Vaughn (spelling?), and look for serious and realistic replacements. I would declare "victory" over Iran and spend a lot of soft power and money around the gulf to expedite pipeline and port infrastructure to freeze out Iran's control over shipping. I would drop the disastrous (spelling of disastrous MAKES NO SENSE) tariffs. I would reform private equity TO DEATH. Why no social reforms yet? Triage. The nation is bleeding, and I'll need the conservatives to get the economy back on track first. The heart of politics is knowing how to count. I'll bring back Bush appointees to fill vital positions along with long-serving justice and intelligence officials, again because knowing how to count is fundamental. I'll then drop copies of the unredacted Epstein files on the Washington Post, NPR, the New York Times, LA Examiner, and well-respected European and Asian papers. I think that's probably all I'd be able to get done in two years, other than transferring 90% of the ICE budget to food support and Medicare, and appoint John Kiriakou as the new head of the CiA.
I'd then disappear, and write a tell-all confession titled "Why I Also Hate the Republican Party."
