For me, hands down, plague. Or any disease really.

I’m lucky that I wouldn’t be directly impacted by floods or earthquakes or volcanoes which is maybe why an outbreak of diseases feels like the most frightening to me. Obviously the other disasters would have secondary impact on me, and something like nuclear war would get us all, but living with disease everywhere is horrifying.

Between this and the Coup in the USA , I probably should not be allowed to make new threads. :giggle:

This necro is a wild ride though, too many are closer than they were 4 years ago

If you could make a new thread predicting the indictment and incarceration of Trump and every political entity involved in the insurrection, that would be great.

LOL. Like in 2014 I told the person I was dating that I thought it was possible for a society to slide backwards socially, even if technology seems to mostly just move forward more or less. She didn't believe me and thought social progress only moved forward. ...then when Trump got elected she conceded I was right, and forbid me from making any more predictions unless they are good, lol.

My example of why I believed it was possible to slide backward was how Emperor Philip banned homosexuality in the Roman Empire after it was totally out in the open for eons. From what I understand, it took a while for the public to fully turn against "deviant" relationships, but it did...
