I can't find them on Youtube, but Severe Tire Damage were the first band broadcast over the Internet, taking advantage of the multicast backbone set up for the Rolling Stones broadcast (that was supposed to be the first) to "open" for them unofficially.

Heh, the hot air balloon I used to crew for landed in people's fields all the time because you can't even steer the things. We'd drive the truck in, pack up the envelope into the basket, pull the basket into the trailer, and hotfoot it out.

There was one time we had to pull them out of a half-empty reservoir, keeping enough heat in the balloon to make it neutral weight and looking for ridges and stuff that were more or less in the direction of the very light breeze that was coming up.
