Congratulations! I am so very very happy for you all! It has been awful watching events in the US for the past 4.5 years, and worrying about the quality of friends' lives, the fall of democracy, the ending of an ally to our country, the creation of a power vacuum, etc..all the worries that a worrier can have. I know there will be work to be done, and wounds to heal, but right now, celebrate and enjoy what you've achieved! It was the most delightful thing to wake up on a sunny Sunday morning and read the world headlines for once.

I also cannot wait to see the size of the inauguration crowd.

edited to add that i'm popping into the kitchen to FINALLY put that Moet in the fridge to chill for this afternoon. It's been too long :D

Here I am, almost midnight, still laughing my ass off that those jokers ended up at the parking lot of a landscaping company for their pressconference.
Definitely the highlight of the 2020 elections.

Biden now up by 9160 votes in Georgia, as provisional, overseas, and hard-to-read ballots are processed. The machines kick out a ballot if they can't clearly read the voting marks, or if there are extraneous marks where they are not supposed to be. Then poll workers + D & R observers have to review them manually and all agree. If they can't agree, the ballot is set aside to be resolved later.
