Hey, ICE agents. Yo, CBP officers. They don't give a shit about you, either. Well, they care a little, in as much as one or more of you can be put to use as martyrs for their cause.

Got my answer already:. This means that they are free to murder us without any accountability whatsoever. Expect more murders.

Remember my prior post?

There's the 'accountability' the fucker is going to end up facing.

Either he faces proper Justice or someone is going to do it for them.

This administration does deliver comedy like this reliably though. Like where a goon like this guy probably considers himself completely safe because his bosses vocally support him 100%, and then out of literally nowhere the first sign they're even slightly unhappy with him is that he's freaking fired.

Like, I still don't know why Trump fired him. He's never complained about the guy even once, he seemed to be quite satisfied with him.

One immediate impulse of federal government figures and their supporters in respect of the killing of Alex Pretti was to blame the fact he had a legally possessed gun.

How they must have been so happy at coming up with this line, to combat the concerns of those horrified at the murder.

But so eager were they to “own the libs” they forgot about those who own the guns.

Their snap response was a contradiction of the rights which many in the United States believe to be protected by the second amendment – often small-c conservatives and Republican party supporters.
Also morale among the ICE agents seems to be collapsing:

White House shows first signs of retreat as backlash grows over Minnesota killing

President Donald Trump on Monday showed his first signs of retreat since surging federal immigration agents in Minnesota late last year — replacing the leader of the crackdown on the ground and signaling new willingness to cooperate with the state’s Democratic elected officials.

But the moves — which came amid an effort to contain the backlash over the fatal shooting of Alex Pretti and Trump officials’ early efforts to falsely brand the ICU nurse as a “domestic terrorist” — didn’t stop the administration from continuing to try to shift blame, sparking questions about how much would change on the ground.

The first test could come Tuesday. Border Patrol chief Gregory Bovino and some of his agents are now expected to leave the city as soon as then, three sources familiar with the discussions told CNN, after Trump dispatched border czar Tom Homan to run the on-the-ground enforcement operation that has roiled Minneapolis. Sidelining Bovino could herald a move away from the heavy-handed approach that he had encouraged.

Minnesota judge summons ICE leader to court, threatens contempt sanctions

Minnesota’s chief federal judge has ordered the head of Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Todd Lyons, to appear in his courtroom Friday and threatened to hold him in contempt for what he says has been repeated defiance of judges’ orders in the state.

“The court’s patience is at an end,” U.S. District Judge Patrick Schiltz said in a three-page order issued Monday night, demanding the acting director explain himself “personally.”

It’s probably just to appease some of the Right who are turning. They’ll replace him with someone just as bad, or worse.
He did not get "fired." They are just moving him and some of his fellow killers somewhere else similar to how the Catholic Church handled abusive priests.

What Trumpco cares about is the funding bill. It passed the House with the help of seven democrats after the murder of Renee Good. After they murdered Alex Pretti, some Democratic senators said that they would refuse to pass it in the Senate. A couple Republicans threatened the same thing. Unfortunately, with this move, they will probably get their funding. $64.4 billion to dog killer (DHS) including $10 billion to ICE.

The little nazi, Bovino, likes to run around with no mask on his face and his nazi style jacket. He would have been target number one.

They sent these murderers to Minneapolis. They committed two murders and brutalized so, so many others. They immediately lied in every scenario peppering Fox News and other outlets with these lies. They didn't suddenly develop consciences.

What they have done here? Not good enough. Not good enough by a country mile. They need to release the killer(s) names. They need to be charged. Nothing else is good enough.

They would prefer that people not be there to be able to videotape their violations of the constitution, brutalities and murders and are willing to spy on you in order to prevent that. Nothing police state about that, look the other way.

(The Guardian) Masked thugs, sneering elites and terrified citizens: a picture of the US today. We used to have a name for this

We in the rest of the world have had to hear a lot – such a lot – about what this US government and its hardcore fanbase thinks about us. So you know they’ll be super-relaxed and free-speechy about hearing some thoughts about how they look from the outside.
Also
Even if you accept the idea that Trump is too incoherent to be a true fascist, his administration undoubtedly contains people (Stephen Miller) who you might generously label fascist-adjacent and it continues to behave in ways that meet that standard too. This does not make all Trump’s voters fascists (though many of them are certainly fools) and it doesn’t, as Rauch correctly insists, make the United States a fascist country either.

But it does make it a country I have no intention of visiting while Trump and his goons remain in office. The sight of federal agents executing civilians on the streets of an American city is bad enough; to see so many people then excuse or celebrate this is somehow even worse. Enough is enough.

Pardon my lack of prior responses to these non-stop nightmares (have been out of country for two weeks unable to reply).
Too little too late after these unceasing, thuggish, lawless, violent atrocities against all civilians and neighbourhoods - babies, children, immigrants, asylum seekers, US born citizens. His/their responses at this juncture are pure self-serving 'cover my behind' selfishness. No compassion or empathy involved whatsoever. I am incensed, enraged and weeping for all of this, and praying for all of you from the bottom of my heart.

Spain is going the opposite way to America by legalising half a million undocumented migrants who can prove that they lived at least 5 months in the country and have no legal record.

Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez has described immigrants as representing "wealth, development and prosperity" for Spain, pointing to their contribution to the social security system.

The government and parties on the left have also emphasised the need to treat migrants in a humane way.

"Providing rights is the answer to racism," said Irene Montero, of the far-left Podemos party and a former minister in a coalition government with the Socialists.

She has campaigned for this measure, which followed an agreement between the party and the government. A civic legislative proposal, calling for a mass migrant regularisation, received the support of around 700,000 people but had been languishing in parliament.

This measure will be approved by royal decree, meaning it does not require parliamentary approval.

It is the first large-scale migrant regularisation in Spain for two decades.

Several such initiatives, by governments of both the Socialists and the conservative People's Party (PP), legalised the status of an estimated half a million migrants between 1986 and 2005.

However, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, leader of the PP, said the latest mass legalisation would "increase the pull effect and overwhelm our public services".
Pepa Millán, spokeswoman for the far-right Vox, said the initiative "attacks our identity", adding that the party would appeal before the Supreme Court in a bid to block it.
