Someone on Reddit apparently described the incident as "assault with a deli weapon."
Bondi must deter the most heinous of criminal elements, such as Department of Justice employees, from flinging life-threatening objects at "law enforcement officers."I was intrigued to see it's being charged as a felony in the US.
Like maybe cleaning the bread fragments and various sandwich ingredients off the street? That sounds fair.is a very low-level crime, normally dealt with in the Magistrates' court, which would probably result in a conditional discharge or low level community order.
I normally use reliable news sites, like the BBC, Sky News, The Guardian and, for a minimal fee, Reuters. Is there a facism-free news source on whatever is happening? I don't X.
Sadly, no US based sites on your list, but yes, The Guardian is my number one pick.I normally use reliable news sites, like the BBC, Sky News, The Guardian and, for a minimal fee, Reuters.
You might also check out BlueSky. Most of the people I followed on X are now there, either additionally or exclusively.
They're all pretty good for US news, though. Obviously it was a long time ago, but back when I lived in CA for a couple of years, I found myself far better informed about US news from The Guardian's overseas weekly edition and from the BBC World Service than from US news sources, which were good for news about CA but, even back then, seemed to rely on wire services for news about everywhere else, including the rest of the US.Sadly, no US based sites on your list, but yes, The Guardian is my number one pick.
The FAZ is a centre-right newspaper (AKA "baby-eating commie scum" in Murrican).Actually I was just looking for a link that was NOT X, but I was able to google around and found out it was about about the usual Trump officials who should not be allowed access to common kitchen utensils.
Thanks for the English-language FAZ link, detrius, I've been thinking of expanding my reading beyond NPR, the WP, BBC, and the Guardian. I'm especially pleased to know they have a good bit of analysis in English, and their content is generally meatier than DW.
Yeah, I got that take reading through it, and I remember from high school German it had a frumpy-dowdy-we-are-not-das-Bild-pushing-up-our-glasses-wrinkling-our-forehead-in-disgust reputation. I'm going to have to peek around for die Zeit English Language materials as well, then. Although center-right in Europe is still rather sane and not at war with anyone. Thanks againThe FAZ is a centre-right newspaper (AKA "baby-eating commie scum" in Murrican).
It's centre-left counterpart would be "Die Zeit" (last link in my previous post).
That's hard to do, since a Bible - or any book really - can only be upside down if you're attempting to read it that way.*bangs his fist on an upside down bible*
But what if he does read it that way? That's hard to do, since a Bible - or any book really - can only be upside down if you're attempting to read it that way.
While banging a fist on it? Sounds challenging. But what if he does read it that way?
Well, he's an ubermench. At least in his mind. While banging a fist on it? Sounds challenging.
