The sign on the left explains why the grass is overgrown.

I have 2 flowerbeds, one in the front where I can't really plant flowers other than bushes and the other in what is really the front yard. The later is the one I grow nothing but wildflowers in. 😁

Oh, OK. My bad :(

I sometimes forget that not everyone lives in the Midwest when there's so much of it around me. There's a fair amount of local government & philanthropic money as well as tax credits involved - at least half of the states pull tab revenue goes into it and wetlands restoration and this whole thing is a popular bipartisan issue.

So of course there's money in it, which is why I said that.

Kind of hard to do in the middle of a mobile home park. lol

But! I do try to do my part. I'm thinking of seeding that front bed with a lavender. I only do perennials, never annuals.
